Any advice on this website is general only and has been prepared without taking into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. Because of this, you should consider whether the advice is appropriate for you before acting on it. Benefit limits, sub-limits, waiting periods, exclusions and conditions apply and are set out in full in the PDS. Cover is subject to the terms of the policy and your Certificate of Insurance.
A 21-day cooling-off period applies from the date we send your Certificate of Insurance. If you cancel within that time and have not made a claim, we refund your premium in full. A 30-day qualifying period applies from the start date of a new policy; insured events with an incident date before the policy started or during the qualifying period are not covered. There is no qualifying period on renewal.
Our 48-hour relocation payment commitment applies to accepted emergency claims where a police event number or Victims Services application reference has been supplied; see the PDS. It applies on Standard and Premier cover. On Essential cover we aim to pay within five business days. All other claim decisions are made within 10 business days of receiving the information we need, as required by the General Insurance Code of Practice.
First year online discounts apply to new policies purchased online, are applied to the base premium before GST and stamp duty, and are not available on renewal. Discounts may be varied or withdrawn at any time without notice. Minimum premiums apply. Premiums are calculated on the information you give us and may change if that information changes or at renewal.
